Scope
These terms apply to every use of Exam Espresso, a practice exam and diagnostic service for professional certifications. You reach us through the feedback form.
In these terms, "we" means Exam Espresso and "you" means the person using the service. By creating an account you accept these terms in the version shown above.
Your account is personal
- An account is for one person only. You may not share it or let anyone else use it.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You sign up and sign in with a code sent to your own email address. Keep your mailbox secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in to your account here.
The service is free
You can ask for free access; once we open your account, you can take the free taster and your free full exam. There is no charge and no obligation to buy. The paid plans shown on the plans page are not on sale yet. Before any of them goes on sale, we publish the terms that apply to it here.
A free account includes a daily mock test for each exam, with your score and results by domain. The plans page shows the current allowances; we may change them, and a change applies from the next day. A test you end in its first minutes, with almost no answers, is given back once a day.
Free full exams earned with an invitation count once the colleague you invited has started practising, up to a weekly number, and must be used within the time shown on your invitations page. Inviting yourself, or creating accounts to earn rewards, is not allowed; we may withhold or take back rewards earned that way.
Questions are for your personal study only
All questions, explanations and other content are original works written for this platform. We grant you a personal, non transferable right to use them for your own study while your account is active.
You may not:
- copy, record, photograph, screenshot or write down questions to keep or pass on,
- scrape or download content with scripts, bots or other automated tools,
- share, publish, sell or resell questions or answers, in whole or in part,
- use content to train or build other question banks or AI systems.
Every question delivered to your account is logged. If we find a breach of these rules, we close the account and may claim damages.
Feedback helps improve the questions
When you send feedback on a question or a test, you allow us to use it, free of charge, to correct and improve our questions and the service. We check every entry; a question that proves wrong is corrected, and your results are not changed after the fact.
We do not guarantee exam success
The service helps you prepare. Whether you pass an exam depends on you and on the exam provider. We do not guarantee that you pass, and results on this platform do not predict your official exam result.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee any particular uptime. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, security measures or reasons outside our control. Where possible we schedule maintenance at quiet times.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever mandatory product liability law provides for it.
For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential contractual obligation. An essential obligation is one that makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Otherwise we are not liable for slight negligence.
Ending the contract
You can end the contract at any time by deleting your account on the Account page.
We may close your account for good cause, in particular if you breach these terms, for example by scraping, copying or sharing questions, or by sharing your account. We may also end free accounts with reasonable notice.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for valid reasons, such as changes in the law or in the service. We tell you about changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect and state the new version date. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect.
Your rights as a consumer
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the country where you normally live.
